Well I never thought I would see the day that there would be a good skatepark in Elmira NY.

Over the weekend Extreme Park opened its doors, and although I have not been there yet I plan to go this weekend. From the website it's looking very promising.

So if your in the Elmira NY area you should definitely check out the Extreme Park

Mondays - Reserve For Private Parties
Tuesdays - Open - 3pm to 8pm
Wednesdays - Open - 3pm to 8pm
Thursdays - Open - 3pm to 8pm
Fridays - Open - 3pm to 9pm
Saturdays - For kids 12 and under - 9am to 1pm
Saturdays - Reserve For Private Parties (or we're open all riders) - 1pm to 4pm

Sundays - Open - 12pm to 6pm

Rates: $10 per session.

ID Card: $2.50 (one time only).

Safety Helmets ARE REQUIRED.

They also rent safety equipment to riders who don't have it.

All riders UNDER 18 must have a parent or legal guardian present at the park to obtain their park ID card before being allowed to use the park. (the first time only).

I am excited to announce that last week I sent out an email to alot of people who have purchased my ramp building guide and I have been receiving some astounding feedback from alot of them. I want to thank those of you who have been sending me the photos of your ramps. I really take joy in knowing that my ramp guide is really helping kids and fellow skaters have fun across the country and around the world!

This has got to be the smallest ramp I have ever seen. looks like fun too!

Trying to hit a moving ramp may not be such a good idea after all. Simple common sense could have predicted the outcome of this one.
